1. Assistant Manager - SEO
Looking for an experienced and analytical Assistant Manager – SEO to join our digital marketing team. This role is responsible for driving organic growth across our digital properties by managing and executing SEO strategies, analysing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and SERP rankings.
- Perform ongoing keyword research, competitive analysis, and identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with content, design, and development teams to optimize on-page SEO elements, including metadata, headings, internal linking, and URL structure.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with developers (site speed, crawlability, indexing, etc.).
- Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Manage SEO tools and platforms, ensuring correct configuration and data integrity.
- Collaborate with outreach and content teams for link-building and content marketing efforts.
- Provide training and support to junior team members when required.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven SEO experience (agency or in-house).
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and tag management.
